Last week marked a significant turning point in the ongoing battle against food waste in the Netherlands. Foodvalley NL, a key player in promoting innovation and sustainability in the food industry, extended a special invitation to us for a meeting with the Dutch Prime Minister at a momentous event. The focus of our discussion with the Prime Minister was the pressing need to reduce food waste and transform ingredients that might otherwise be discarded or relegated to animal feed.
During this event, the Prime Minister had the opportunity to experience firsthand two of our pioneering products: our high-fiber satay sauce and Parmigiano Reggiano mayonnaise. These creations not only showcase our commitment to addressing food waste but also underline our dedication to making sustainable, delicious innovations that can reshape the landscape of the food industry.
It’s important to note that this event took place during the Netherlands’ food waste awareness week, a time when the nation’s collective attention was firmly fixed on the issue of food waste. This timing underscored our dedication to the cause and highlighted the urgency of the matter.
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Foodvalley NL and the Upcycling Community for their invaluable invitation and for their ongoing support in our mission to combat food waste and drive positive change in the food industry. This event has been a pivotal moment in our journey, and we are more determined than ever to continue our efforts to create sustainable and delectable solutions that benefit both our planet and its people.
